Descriptions
Compressive stress increment of vertical reinforcement steel near aisle was observed within some fill-dam galleries during periods not to bank. Drying shrinkage and creep analysis, therefore, were carried out to identify the causes, respectively. Consequently, the main cause must be drying shrinkage and the subsidiary is creep. Avoiding shrinkage cracking at arch crown, natural ventilation shoud be limited as little as possible.
