This study reports picture book construction for childcare education. Reviews onthe descriptions on picture books in the childcare guideline and childcare guideline exposition for nursery provided by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and the instruction procedure and/or instruction procedure exposition for kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology was presented. The authors served picture book construction for graduates and undergraduates in university and undergraduates served practical childcare for 5-year-old children in kindergarten with the constructed picture books. Future directions for scientific study on picture books were discussed.
