保育所実習が看護学生の子ども観に及ぼす影響

The purpose of the present study is to clarify the influence of nursing students' views of children learning during practical nursery school training. This study examined the number of siblings students have, their feelings towards children, their image of children, and their learning experience during practical training. There were 47 students who studied practical nursery. Valid responses were obtained from 31 of these subjects. The results showed that most students had a brother and/or sister, Fifty five percent of the surveyed students have never had contact with children. Students have never had contact with children feelings towards children improved after practical nursery school training. After training, more students responded that children are fun and "are active" while fewer responded that children "are selfish", "are noisy", and/or "are insolent". Therefore, their views changed positively, Furthermore, 73.6% of students responded that children "are likeable". Thirty-nine percent of the students stated that they could learn how to make good relations with children during practical nursery school training. The students could spend a lot of time with children during their training and as a result they could learn more about children. Their practical nursery school experience positively effected their feelings and image toward children. This experience also helped them mature as people.
本研究の目的は,保育所実習が学生の子ども観に及ぼす影響を明らかすることである。学生の属性,子どもに対する感情,子どものイメージ,子どもの関係性,実習の学びの項目からなるアンケート調査を行った。対象は保育所実習を終了した看護学科3年中47人で31人から有効回答を得た。その結果,きょうだい数は二人が多く,子どもとの接触経験が「全くない」学生は55%であり,子どもに対する感情は実習前と比べると好転し,特に子どもとの接触経験がない学生は有意に好転していた。実習前後での子どものイメージでは「おもしろい」「元気」の得点の平均値が有意に高くなり,「わがまま」「うるさい」「生意気」では有意に低下し,マイナスイメージからプラスイメージと変化していた。子どもとの関係性では「かわいい」などの好意的関係性の回答が73.6%を占めた。実習の学びでは子どもとの関わり方が最も多く39%であった。以上のことから,保育所実習で学生は子どもとの関わりを通して学んだ経験から子どもに対する感情,イメージが好転し,子どもとの関係性の育成につながっており,子ども観を培うことができていた。
