At Shimane University School of Nursing, a unique method of practical training is conducted to provide a better understanding of the structure and function of human body. The details of this course are introduced and the objectives of anatomy training are discussed based on the results of a survey conducted among the students. The survey was conducted on 238 first- to fourth-year nursing students. with effective responses from 154 (65%). Although the results indicated that the students rated the course less highly as they advanced in their studies, more than 75% stated that the lectures and practical training were useful and more than 80% felt that these would be necessary for future students. Undoubtedly, they recognized the importance of practical training. They also realized the importance of learning human anatomy from cadavers. The fourth-year students expressed a desire for a greater quantity and frequency of practical training at the upper levels. We realize the entire curriculum must be reorganized in relation to the timing and frequency of training, based on the learning needs at the upper level.
島根大学医学部看護学科では,人体の構造や機能を学生により深く理解させるために独自の解剖実習を行っている。本稿では,私たちが行っている解剖実習の内容を紹介し,学生に対するアンケート調査の結果に基づいて,解剖実習の課題について論じた。アンケートの対象者は看護学科1~4年生238名であり,154名(65%)から回答を得た。調査の結果,学年の進行とともに多少評価が下がるものの,75%以上が講義や演習に役立ったと答え,86%以上が後輩にも必要だと答えた。これらのことから,学生は実習の重要性を認めているといえる。また解剖実習によって,人体構造をご遺体から学ぶ大切さも理解していた。一方4年生からは,もっと上の学年での実施や回数を増やしてほしいという要望があったことから,学年進行に伴う学習ニーズをふまえ,実施時期・回数など,カリキュラム全体の枠組みを構築することが課題である。
