看護基礎教育における「衛生学的手洗い」演習の教育効果 : 手洗い効果の視覚化を導入した教育方法の実践とその評価

We did the teaching method to visualize the effect of hygienic hand-washing. Then, education effects to the students were evaluated from the points of the acquisition of knowledge and the technique, and self-report on the washing practice during following nursing clinical laboratory course. The following results were obtained. The student compared the effect of hygienic hand-washing with their usual hand-washing, and acquired the knowledge and technique of hygienic hand-washing. They found visually the occurrence of washing-leaving area and the remaining of bacillus on the hand with their technique. They understood the importance of the infection prevention for the patient and their own technical problems for prevention of infection. Many students did hygienic hand-washing in their following nursing clinical laboratory course. However, there were some students who could not appropriately do the washing. More concrete guidance to the students is necessary for the establishment for the prevention of infection.
感染予防のエビデンスに基づいた確実な手洗い技術の習得を目指して,学生の手洗いの効果を視覚的に提示する教育方法を実践した。学生に対する教育効果を知識と技術の習得と,その後の臨地実習における実践の側面から検討し,以下の結果を得た。学生は,「普段の手洗い」と「衛生学的手洗い」を比べ,確実な実践での効果を客観的に振り返ることで,知識や手技の獲得につながった。「衛生学的手洗い」の正確な実践は1回の演習では難しく,洗い残しや細菌の残存を実感していた。それにより,患者への感染予防効果や,今後の感染予防に対する課題を発見するなど,感染}防に関する理解を深めていた。臨地実習の場における手洗いの実践は.他大学の実態調査に比べて明らかに高かった。しかし,中には隣地実習で適切な手洗いのできない学生もおり,具体的な行動をイメージできるような感染予防についてのさらなる指導の必要性を示唆している。
