看護学生の卒業研究論文の実態調査 : 過去5年間の研究内容分析

Five years have passed since the members of inaugural class graduated from our nursing school. Students in the final grade of each class have to submit their graduation thesis during the education program of nursing research process so that they can acquire problem-solving skills. In this paper, we analyzed 341 graduation theses in five years to update the future educational program of nursing school, We investigated the trends of themes of theses, research design, sampling, objectives, number of objectives, methods of analysis, graph, table, and statement of ethical consideration by using morphological analysis of papers and descriptive statistics of these factors. As a result, research area of students' theses involved 17 fields and teachers instructed them out of their specialty. It means teachers value students' interests to continue their motivation for learning. The description of ethical conditions increased year by year, in keeping with the trend that ethical values became widespread into the nursing profession for the past five years. However, incomplete statements about the number of objectives or methods of analysis were observed, so improving the quality of theses is an open issue in the future.
島根大学医学部看護学科の1期生が卒業して5年たった現在,問題解決能力育成の集大成として行ってきた卒業研究の取り組みについて,その研究内容を明らかにし,今後の教育に生かす目的で分析を行った。第1~5期の看護学科卒業研究論文341件について,指導教員の専門分野,研究デザイン・サンプリング・対象と数・分析方法・図表の有無+倫理的配慮の記述の有無およびテーマの形態素解析の結果についてカテゴリ別・期別の分析を行った。その結果,学生の研究は17分野に分類できた。教員は専門以外の分野についても指導を行っており,学生の興味を優先させて学習意欲を継続させようとしていることが伺えた。また,倫理的配慮の記述の有無に経年的な変化が見られ,この5年の間に看護界への倫理意識の浸透と共に,論文中への記載数も増えてきていた。対象数や分析手法について,記載に不備があるものがみられたため,今後は論文の質を高める指導が必要である。
