Shimane Agricultuial College has her University Farm on the foot of Mt. Sambe (1112.6 meter on the sea level) in Shimane Prefecture.
This paper deals with the results of surveys on the distribution of plant diseases neighboring her University Farm.
14 species of phytopathogenic fungi to the food crops, 5 species to the special crops, 7 species to the vegetable, 3 species to the fruit, 23 species to the trees and shrubs, 17 spccies to the wild plants and 12 species of wood destroying fungi were investigated.
The distribution map of main diseases of food crops was prepared.
