解剖実習事前学習における献体に関するビデオ教材の評価

At Shimane University School of Nursing, a unique method of practical training is conducted to provide a better understanding of the structure and function of human body. For our students to gain a better understanding of what should be learned on donor bodies, we prepared audiovisual aids for pre-learning of practical human morphology training. Herein, we report the results of a study revealing what students learned from these aids. The subjects included 60 new School of Nursing students, none of whom had any experience in practical learning about human morphology. A questionnaire survey was conducted and 57 (95%) out of 60 subjects answered. The survey results revealed that most of the subjects had feelings such as "fear" and "discomfort". After the audiovisual aids were seen 60% answered that their feelings regarding practical human morphology training had improved. The audio-visual aids provided the students with a better understanding of the system of body donation and respect for the dignity of the donors as well as a great appreciation for their donations. Thus, the students successfully established an appropriate mental attitude toward practical human morphology training. In the future, we intend to discuss attendance at incineration ceremony, as part of post-leaning, in addition to the pre-learning using these audiovisual aids.
島根大学医学部看護学科では,人体の構造や機能を学生により深く理解させるために独自の解剖実習を行っている。今回,解剖実習の事前学習として,ご遺体から学ぶことについて理解を深める目的で,献体に関するビデオ教材を作成した。本教材から学生がどのような学びを得たのかを明らかにする目的で調査を行ったので報告する。対象者は解剖実習を行う前の看護学科1年次学生60名であり,57名(95%)から回答を得た。調査の結果,解剖実習に対して多くの学生が「怖い」「不安」といったイメージを持っていた。このビデオ教材を用いたところ約6割の学生が解剖実習に対するイメージが変わったと答えた。ビデオ教材から献体のシステムを理解し,感謝の気持ちを持つようになり,実習への心構えにつながっていた。今後はこのビデオ教材における事前学習とともに,事後学習として納骨式への参列も検討したい。
