This is the report of the stop-watch time stydy made by the continuous method on the cutting and hauling operation of Mosochiku (Phyllostachys edulis Riv.) groves in Shimane prefecture. The bamboo size which shows the lowest total of cutting, limbing, and bundling operation time per bundle (Soku), will be at or above 10 cm d. b. h.
