By the fertilizing experiment on the sand soil of the sand hill,dressing granular fertilizer before seeding, it was observed that barley growth became bad since very-young-head forming period.
It was assumed that the bad growth of barley depended on the solubility of the nutrient elements in the granular fertilizer. So, we carried out experiment upon the solubility of NH_3-N component. The component was fairly soluble unexpectedly and further showed fair speedy leaching in the sandosoil.
It was concluded that when granular fertilizer was dressed as ground, deficiency of nutrient elements was easy to occur since very-young-head forming period, so that the grain yield decreased remarkably.
