This paper deals with the consistency of Bentonite.
Bentonite are usually defined as clays composed montmorillonite that have been formed by the alteration of volcanic ash. The consistency is described by such terms as hard, stiff, brittle, friable, sticky, plastic and soft. The results obtained are as follows.
L. L =98.8%
P. L =32.7%
S. L =36.1%
P. I =66.1%
