Descriptions
This is the report of the stop-watch time study made by the continuous method on the cutting and hauling operation of Hachiku (Phyllostachys nigra Munro var. Henonis Stapf) groves in Shimane prefecture. Hachiku groves closely approximate to Madake groves in the cutting, limbing and bundling operation time in average. The relation between the number of branches (x) and the limbing time in minutes (y) is shown by the following a straight line.
