In conducting Home Economics Education, a variety of new teaching instruments/material is required for the effective learning of the design and development of the living area.
The present study provides some evidence concerinng the usefulness of teaching instruments/material by comparing learning processes in two settings : 1) a learning setting where miniature-model room and furniture are used, and 2) a setting where no such model is provided except traditional charts and figures.
