食料廃棄資源のアップサイクルによる地域循環経済の形成 : (株)錦海化成の事例研究

　本稿の目的は、食料の廃棄資源や未利用資源をアップサイクルし、高付加価値資源として再生する資源循環型企業が地域内で構築する資源循環および経済循環の実態を明らかにすることである。具体的には、鳥取県境港市の資源循環型企業（株式会社錦海化成）を対象に、そのビジネスモデルと連鎖的取引関係（ 1 次取引企業：Tier 1 、2 次取引企業：Tier 2 ）を分析し、サプライチェーンの特徴を把握する。この分析を通じて、資源循環と経済循環の形成過程を明確にし、資源循環型企業が地域経済に与える影響を考察する。さらに、本事例の知見をもとに、アップサイクルを基軸とした地域におけるサーキュラーエコノミーの可能性を展望する。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the realities of resource and economic circulation constructed within a region by resource-upcycling companies that upcycle food waste and unused resources into high-value-added materials. Specifically, the study analyzes the business model and transactional relationships of a resource-upcycling company, Kinkai Kasei Co., Ltd., located in Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture, focusing on its supply chain structure, including primary (Tier 1) and secondary (Tier 2) business partners. Through this analysis, the study aims to elucidate the process of building resource and economic circulation and examine the impact of resource-upcycling companies on regional economies. Furthermore, based on the findings from this case study, the research explores the formation process of a circular economy in the region centered on upcycling and examines its potential.
