Recently the study of the bending of elastic plates with large deflection became important specially in aeroelasticity. The laterally loaded clamped square plate with large deflection was studied by S. Way and the author. The problem in the case of the rectangular plates was discussed by S. Levy.
The problm to be treated here is that of a parallelogrammic, laterally loaded, clamped plate having large deflections of the same order of magnitude as the thickness. |
