The velocity distribution at a considerable distance downstream in the turbulentwake behind a body of revolution was calculated by Swain on the momentumtransfer theory and by Goldstein on the vorticity transfer theories. We shall consider the same problem by assuming the apparent turbulent coefficient ofdiffusion of the appropriate form.
