This paper deals with the acceleration behaviour of the vibrations of the ground surface and of structures, caused by pile driving construction site.
The Earth Auger type Pile driver was used The accelerations of the horizontal and the vertical components of the ground surface caused by pile driving and the microtremors of the ground were measured. Noise level were also measured at the same time. A few discussions were carried out about noise level, the relation of the acceleration amplitude to the distance, and the relation of the acceleration amplitude of the structure to that of the ground surface. |
