二酸化炭素の有効利用

Abstract

The utilization of carbon dioxide was outlined with an emphasis on the field of chemistry，especially，organic chemstry. The studies on the carboxylation of phenols with carbon dioxide have also been described:it has been pointed out that the reaction mechanism which had been a㏄epted in the KolbeSchmtt reaction over more than l00years is erroneous. A number of new carboxylations with carbon dioxide have been developed based on the newly proposed reaction mechanism.
　 二酸化炭素の有効利用について化学，特に有機化学の分野に力点をおいて概説した．また，二酸化炭素によるフェノール類のカルボキシル化の研究について記述した．コルベ・シュミット反応で100年以上も受け入れられていた反応機構が間違っていることを指摘した．新しく提案した反応機構に基づき，二酸化炭素による新しい幾つかのカルボキシル化反応を開発した．
