抄録・要旨
The fine structure of a spiracular plate of the Ixodes which was found in the breast tumor removed from a 70-year-old man was observed by scanning electron microscopy. Many disocoid plates with a central pore surround a central protuberance and a stigma in a spiracular plate. The central pore of the discoid plate leads to the inner body by a canal with regular furrows on the surface ofthe wall.
