Shimane Conferance for Developping the Welfare and Education of the Handicapped became extinct both in name and reality in 1993. But the organization had played an important part in guaranteeing rights of them, especially of mentally handicapped children, for about ten years in the l970s-l980s.
We can draw a lot of universal lessons from it's history not only in diversity of activities but democratism in management. This is the first report indicating a general view of it's ten-year history. |
