Description | Lizardite and clinochlore from the Wakamatsu mine, Tottori prefecture were investigated by means of X-ray, differential thermal and chemical analyses.
It was proved that the lizardite shows characteristic X-ray powder patterns as described in the paper. Chlorite was identified by X-ray powder data, but the name clinochlore was determined by chemical composition. The unit cell dimensions and the chemical compositions of the minerals are mentioned in the paper. |
