This report presents a new and easier method in which an old TV-set can be remodeled into an oscilloscope. In this method a TV-set need not be pulled to pieces but we make the most of its circllits, and it willtake only a few days for even a beginner to make this device.
The utmost effort has been made to lineerize the low-frequency sawtooth waves and for 2 cycles of electric power wave and rectified wave to appear.
This paper also presents simple methods of making an audio-frequency oscillator and a variable voltage d-c power supply from TV-parts. These instruments as well as the above-mentioned oscilloscope will be of much use for the middle school teachers as teaching tools.
