Description
The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of group learning in handling the sewing machine. The subjects were first-year female students from four classes of a junior high school. Three of these classes were organized into three different types of group learning, and a fourth class learned individually.
As a result of the comparative study of these classes, several characteristics of group learning were recognized. The group learning was proved to be an effective method of learning how to handle the sewing machine.
