| Description | In a patient diagnosed as having acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy (APMPPE) there was an accompanying cystoid macular edema. Oral and subconjunctival administrations of bethamethsone and mono-ocular photocoagulation produced only temporary positive results. This therapy showed be re-evaluated.
