本稿は，先年来＜現観荘厳論釈の梵文写本＞として発表をつづげているものの一部であり，内容的にはその第二章と第三章に相当している。この二章の写本には大きな欠陥は認められないものの，処々に不鮮明な個所や小さな欠落が認められる。その場合には，A^^￣（荻原本および Tucci 本）や Tib. と比較勘案してこれを補いそして当該個所をイタリックで示しておいた。
