翻刻　渡部寛一郎日記5 ・II（大正七年七月～七年十二月）

　渡部寛一郎文書は、渡部寛一郎日記、剪淞吟社に結集する人々の漢詩と関連文書、若槻礼次郎ほかの渡部寛一郎宛書簡、私立中学修道館など渡部寛一郎が関わった教育関係文書などで構成されている。中国文学・歴史学などの学際的研究によってこれらの諸文書を解読・分析し、近代日本の漢詩文学と政治文化の関連を山陰地域に即して実証的に追究することが本プロジェクトのめざすところである。今回は、渡部寛一郎日記第五冊のうち、大正七年七月から七年十二月の部分を翻刻する。 寛一郎が教育界から身を引いた時期のものである。漢詩、謡曲、旅行、家族・親族・友人との交流、歓談に日々を費やしているようであるが、地方政治、教育、経済に対する関心も垣間見られ、その交友関係は、後の、若槻礼次郎の後援会長としての、また、県会議員、国会議員としての活躍につながるものがある。

Watanabe Kanichirou (1854-1938) was an influential educator in Shimane prefecture and the head of the society in support of Wakatsuki Reijirou (Kokudoukai). Here we transcribe his diary written on 1917-1919. Through this diary we can perceive how Watanabe, after his retiring from teaching, made relationship with important persons of educational society and statesmen and beaurocrats. Also Watanabe made many contributions to the world of letters (including Kanshi) and devoted himself to Noh music in Sanin district.
