遠江の国学者内山真龍は門弟ら五人とともに、天明六年二月、出雲国を踏査し、翌年出雲国風土記の注解書『出雲風土記解』を執筆した。この踏査旅行を記録した旅日記、内山真龍の『出雲日記』、高林方朗の『弥久毛乃道草』、山下政嗣の『筑紫日記』が残されている。その三日記の出雲国内部分の対照表を作成し、踏査の実態と特徴を分析する。そしてそれが『出雲風土記解』にどのように反映されたを明らかにする。

In February 1786, UCHIYAMA Matatsu, a scholar of Japanese classical literature in Totomi, surveyed Izumo Province with his fi ve disciples, and in the following year wrote a commentary on the Izumono kuni-Fudoki, 'Izumo-Fudoki-Kai.'The travel diary that recorded this expedition, UCHYAMA Matatsu's "Izumo-Nikki", TAKABAYASHI Michiakira's "Yakumono-Michikusa", and YAMASHITA Masatsugu's "Tsukushi -Nikki" are preserved.I will create a comparison table of the Izumo province part of the three diary and analyze the actual situation and characteristics of the survey.And I will clarify how it was refl ected in "Izumo Fudoki-Kai".
