島根県の子育て世帯に必要な支援についての考察 ―フードバンク利用世帯へのアンケート調査より―

　本研究では、島根県におけるフードバンク利用世帯を対象に行ったアンケート調査をもとに、コロナ禍を経て困窮している子育て世帯がどのような困難を抱え、どのような支援を必要としているかを明らかにすることを目的としている。また、子育て世帯の困窮に対して具体的にどんな支援やサービスを提供することが可能か、支援方策を検討した。
　調査結果から、回答者は家計負担のこと、仕事が不安定であること、仕事と子育ての両立が困難であること等、複合的な生活課題を抱えており、精神的負担や孤独を感じていることが明らかとなった。特に、中学生以上の子どもを持つ家庭では学校や教育にかかる費用の負担感が大きく、学習支援のニーズも高い。求められる支援としては、経済的な負担の軽減策と同時に、子ども食堂など子育て世帯と地域の関係づくりをサポートする、ソフト面でのサービス拡充がある。

This study aims to investigate and identify various difficulties impoverished child-rearing households experienced post-COVID-19, using data from a questionnaire survey conducted on households using food banks in Shimane prefecture. Additionally, the survey examined specific support and services that could be offered to impoverished child-rearing households. Survey results revealed that the respondents were facing multiple life issues, such as household financial burdens, job insecurity, and difficulties in balancing work and child rearing. They also felt mentally burdened and isolated. In particular, families with children in junior high school and above experienced heavy financial burden due to school and education costs and had high needs for education support. Other necessary support measures include financial burden reduction measures and promoting childcare support, such as community dining (kodomo shokudou) to support building relationship among child-rearing households and the community.
