By Ritz method, we have solved approximately the problem of an initially flat clamped square plate under actions of four concentrated loads, and have seen that there is the moderate difference, between the linear and the present theory when the deflections is of the same order of magnitude as the thickness. This research has been maintained by the grant in Aid for Fundamental Scientific Research of the Department of Education.
