We discuss about the promotion problems which are pointed out from rural children's opinion. In the almost rural towns and villages, depopulation problem has reached severe stage, so-called "natural decrease of the population." The flowing-out of population became slowly, but it does not mean that flowing-out have stopped. In such situation, the behaviors and the opinions of children who become leaders of rural area are very important topics. But depression of agriculture and other rural industry made children push out to metropolis. In addition, the direction of school education and parents' expectation help the children's flowing-out. To promote the rural area, it will be important policy that to prepare conditions for young people's settlement. Which are both physical conditions for income opportunity and mental condition of home-place, that children would like to come back there, even if once they go out. This is the way to promote and maintain the rural area as a sustainable community.
