Abstract
わが国では、古来観音信仰が盛んで、それにつれて観音像が極めて多い。この観音像は如何なる形相に表現され、何か系列があるのか。そして、この像が時代的に見て、如何なる様式が見られるかを、美術史の立場から考察し、併せて島根県下に於ける文化財として指定を受けた、観音像について考察するのが本題の主旨である。
