This is the report of the stop-watch time study made by the continuous method on the cutting and hauling operation of Madake (Phyllostachys reticulata) groves in Yamaguchi and Shimane prefecture. The table below shows one example of cutting, limbing and bund ling operation time in average, and the productive time from stump to a truck road will be obtained by aading about 150 seconds to the each total in the table.
