Abstract
1) This investigation was carried out to decide on the karyotypes of five garden varieties of Hyacinthus orientalis L. : Jan Bos, Marconi, Grand Maitre, General de wet, and Queen of the pink.
2) All five varieties investigated were observed as triploid and have basic karyotype, 2n = 24 = 12V + 12j, though the karyotype showed a slight variation in each other. |
