Abstract
Pleonosporium caribaeum (Bφrgesen) Norris (Ceramiaceae,Rhodophyta) is reported in this paper not only as a new entry to the present writer's algal list of the Oki Islands in the Sea of Japan, but also as a new algal record for Japan except for the Amami-oshima Island in southern Japan.
