This study aims at assessing basic data concerning the general arrangement of extra-curricular conditions at Shimane Medical University. The subjects involved in this data collection were all freshmen, 93 in 1979 and 89 in 1990, and their awareness of health, physical fitness and physical exercise were investigated.
