抄録・要旨
The importance of field learning about geological phenomenon has been increasing from an elementary school to a university student. However, the practice rate of the field learning in an elementary and a junior high school is very low. The reason is insufficient of ability technical for a teacher’s field educational guidance. Therefore in this study, we practiced the field learning as science unit of grade 5 Function of running water of elementary school that aimed at the improvement of the leadership of the university student who wants to be a school teacer by using Hii river which flows in eastern Shimane prefecture. As for Hii river, the granitoids are widely distributed from the upper stream to the lower stream. Therefore, the granitoids origin fragments are dominantly distributed on the river bed and bank with various grain size and morphology from the upper stream to the lower stream. The result of this practice showed that student not only learning about the function of running water as“ weathering”, ”transportation” and ”sedimentation” with realization, but also perceiving about the change of the space accompanying passage of the time. Above reason it was shown that Hii river is one of the good scientific teaching material of river - study of elementary school. The questionnaire result of the university student showed that“ an understanding with realization” and“ pleasure to study” were promoted by geological field study
