Descriptions |
Multimedia is referred to ideally as the use of computers to present text, graphics, video, animation, and sound in an integrated way. But, in reality, "integration" is read as "synchronization" among those media. The term multimedia reminds us of the existence of multiple media. In this paper, we present a notion of UniversalMedia. It is not just text, or graphics, or video, or animation, or sound. Rather it is an all-in-one active object. Some trials the author has carried out as a step toward realization of such active media are presented.
