The temperature field of the structure really cracked was analysed by the F.E.M. which has already been applied practically. The results showed some relations between the temperature field and the themal cracking. In addition, the model simulation study gave some suggestions for the method of crack protection. The results were the same which had been said experientially. The present analytical agreement with empirical procedures is worthy for protecting cracks.
