The psesent experiments were made in order to clarify on the relation between the mortaality of Chilo suppressalis WALKER by Isaria farinosa (DICKS) FR. and the environmental temperature.
The results obtained are as follows :
1. The life of larvae suffering from the disease is shorter at higher temperatures.
2. The variation curve of the resistance of larvae to the disease is almost normal.
3. The variation of the resistance of larvae is wider at lower temperatures.
