Abstract
本研究は，音楽科教育におけるミニマム・エッセンシャルズを策定する上での可能性について，島根県高等学校音楽教育研究会及び島根大学教育学部芸術表現教育講座河添研究室による共同研究として推進し検討するものである。本稿では，第一段階として島根県及び全国における音楽科教育を取り巻く状況を確認し，それを踏まえたこれまでの研究活動を整理することにより，ミニマム・エッセンシャルズ策定に至るまでの過程を明らかにしている。
