本研究は金管楽器における初期段階の指導法について考察したものである。今日までに出版されている金管楽器のいくつかの教則本を照らし合わせ、金管楽器を始めて間もない時期の学習者を指導する上で必要とする基礎的奏法に関する知識を整理し、筆者がこれまでの吹奏楽団体や個人レッスン等において実践してきた指導例を踏まえ、今後の金管楽器の指導法について検証や提言を行うものである。
