桑原文庫蔵『高真院様宝山院様源林院様御詠草写』について : 第二代松江藩主側室「養法院」の和歌事蹟

本稿で取り上げる島根大学附属図書館桑原文庫蔵『高真院様宝山院様源林院様御詠草写』は、出雲松江藩祖の松平直政（高真院）、二代藩主綱隆（宝山院）、四代藩主吉透（源林院）の詠草を集めたものである。この三者の選択には、綱隆側室の養法院が大きく関与しているものと思われる。それは直政が綱隆の実父であり、吉透は綱隆との間に設けた実子であるからである。母が綱隆室の越前福井藩主松平忠昌娘であった三代藩主綱近（隆元院）の詠草は収められていない。また吉透歌の収集には、自らに先立って亡くなった息子への追善の意図があったようである。よって成立は、吉透没の宝永二年（一七〇五）から養法院没の宝永四年（一七〇七）の間と考えられる。吉透歌に対する点を「中院殿」（通茂か）に請うたという記述や、直政歌が烏丸光広歌に類似する点などから、当時の歌道家とのつながりを窺い知ることもできる。また、一部の詞書を手がかりとして、詠歌の状況や年次の考察を試みた。こうした内容を持つ本書を通して、養法院の和歌事蹟の一端を明らかにした。

Kōshin'in-sama-Hōzan'in-sama-Genrin'in-sama-Goeisō-no-utsushi in the possession of Shimane University Library, Kuwabara Bunko is a collection of Japanese poem of first generation feudal lord of Izumo Matsue clan Matsudaira Naomasa (Kōshin'in), second generation feudal lord Tsunataka (Hōzan'in), and forth generation feudal lord Yoshitō(Genrin'in). It seems Tsunataka's concubine Yōhōin was greatly involved in a selection of these three people, because Naomasa is father of Tsunataka, and Yoshitō is son of Tsunataka and Yōhōin. Japanese poem of third generation feudal lord Tsunachika (Ryōgen'in) is not included because his mother is Tsunataka's concubine, Echizen Fukui feudal lord Matsudaira Tadamasa's daughter. Also for the memorial of the son Yōhōin collected Japanese poem of Yoshitō who had died. Therefore, this collection of Japanese poem is approved between Yoshitō's death in the year Hoei two (1705) from Yōhōin's death in the year Hoei four (1707). Yōhōin requested to Nakanoin (Michishige) the evaluation of Yoshitō's poem. And Naomasa's poem is similar to Karasumaru Mitsuhiro's. Thus, Yōhōin and Izumo Matsue clan was connected to the leader of Japanese poem in Kyoto. Also, I examined the situation and period of the creation of Japanese poems through kotobagaki notes. And I made clear a part of the achievement concerning Japanese poems of Yōhōin.
