ln the Sebadani area of the Sambagawa metamorphic belt，central Shikoku，two types of prograde eclogites have been described so far．One was formed by contact metamorphism by emplacement of a hightemperature eclogite brock，the Sebadani metagabbro mass，and the other was formed by the Sambagawa prograde metamorphism．Two prograde eclogite localities have been newly discovered．The eclogites show
clockwise P-T path，from the epidote-amphibolite facies through the eclogite facies as a peak condition to the epidote-amphibolite facies．This genetic character is same as the other Sambagawa eclogitic schists already described．The cause of increasing temperature up to the eclogite facies condition will be important
for understanding the thermal history of the Sambagawa metamorphism in the Sebadani district．
