This study illustrates the incubation managers’ support style and the determinant factors of the business incubator performance. With research perspectives of comparison between “urban” and “region”, this study applies statistical analysis and investigates how incubation managers’ communication activities affect incubators’ performance indicators. Evidence from this study indicates that there exists clear difference between “urban” and “region” with regard to the managers’ support style and determinant factors. This study also implicates that building trustworthy relationship with client companies is one of the key success factors, and that this support style is more significant in the regional incubators than those in urban area.
