Pollutant loads per capita flowing into public water body were calculated for drainage areas of inner city rivers in the drainage areas of Lakes Shinji and Nakaumi in order to prepare environmental accounting housekeeping(EAH)books of domestic wastewater. Study areas of this research are four drainage areas of inner city rivers in Matsue City. Pollutant loads per capita flowing into public water body were calculated as 0.08~2.32 g-BOD person^-1 day^-1, 0.21~1.76 g-COD person^-1 day^-1, 0.19~1.85 g-TN person^-1 day^-1,0.02~0.08 g-TP person^-1 day^-1, respectively. The reasons for smaller values comparing to those calculated for drainage areas of inner city rivers in urban districts of Chiba Prefecture were considered as larger natural purification might effct in the study area of this paper ; pollutant loads estimation errors at the river mouths; high performance of treatment facilities in the study area ; and underestimation of business sector contribution to pollutant loads in the previous results of Chiba Prefecture. Quantitative dissemination including environmental accounting housekeeping(EAH)books would be desirable for improvement of water quality and quantity management in the study area.
