オーストラリア東部ニューイングランド褶曲帯のHastings blockに含まれるシルト岩からは保存良好なデボン紀新世のentactiniidsやpalaeosceniidsを産する.放散虫群集のなかでpalaeosceniidsに含まれるPalaeoscenidium cladopkorum DEFLANDREやPalaeorubus hastingensis ISHIGA(新属,新種)を記載した.
Radiolarians have been extracted from siltstones of previously unestablished age in the western part of the Hastings block in the New England fold belt, N.S.W., Australia. The fauna, considered to be Late Devonian age, consists of entactiniids and palaeosceniids. Amongst the palaeosceniids are Palaeoscenidium cladophorum DEFLANDRE and the new form, described here by H. ISHIGA, Palaeorubus hastingensis.
