Abstract
A case study was carried out in Alunja village of Bogra region (pre-1982 administrative district) to identify the factors affecting high rice productivity in Bangladesh. Results of the study revealed that a suitable natural environment and modern technology(HYV, fertilizer and irrigation) have played vital roles for increasing rice productivity in Alunja village. Consequently, Alunja village has achieved high rice productivity.
