The writer collected some plants and made specimens while he had been staying at Cornell University, N. Y., U. S. A. in 1954-55. The following is the list of plants which were collected in the vicinity of the campus of Cornell University and Ithaca city, N. Y., and in Florida state.
On the plants collected near Ithaca city, English names were given from the following two books : Clausen, R.T. : Checklist of the Vascular Plants of the Cayuga Quadrangle 42-43°N., 76-77° W. (1949), and Muenscher, W. C. and Petry, L.C. : Keys to Spring Plants (1949).
The writer is indebted to Miss B. Bobear in Wiegand Herbarium, Cornell University for her kind help in identification of these plants.
