Diploxylon and Quercus subgn. Cyclobalanopsis. Division 5 (sample 9) : Pinus subgn. Diploxylon, Tsuga and Myrica. Division 4 (sample 10) : Pinus subgn. Diploxylon and Ulnus-Zelkoua. All samples are correlated with the Gramineae pollen zone of ONISHI (1985). Division 7 and division 6 are correlated with the Cryptomeria subzone and Cyclobalanopis-Quercus subzone, respectively. Divisions 5 to 1 are correlated with the Pinus (Dioloxylon) subzone. The sedimentation rate in the upper part is estimated to be 3.0mm/year, whereas that of lower part is estimated to be O.5mm/year. |
