Abstract
We have developed infomation analysis system (NASEQ) for nucleotide sequences of genes using 16-bit personal computer.
The software of NASEQ system consists of a menu Program and 8 executing programs: 1. nucleotide sequence display, 2. nucleotide sequence comparison, 3. specific sequence retrieval, 4. nucleotide replacement analysis, 5. codon usage analysis, 6. G+C content analysis, 7. nucleotide composition analysis, 8. translation to amino acid sequence The nucleotide sequences of human myoglobin and seal myoglobin are used to illustrate NASEQ system. |
